Hi, I'm Nikki, a Chicago transplant of two years, a lifelong small business enthusiast, and honestly, just someone who gets really excited when someone tells me they're an entrepreneur.

I grew up working for small businesses and launching my own creative ventures along the way, so I have always had a front row seat to what it actually takes to bet on yourself and build something from scratch. That world, the founders, the passion, the grit behind it, has always felt like home to me.

When I moved to Chicago, I started doing pro bono work for a few women who had just launched their businesses. I got close to them, learned what they were building, and couldn't stop wanting to tell everyone about it. That feeling, of witnessing something really special and wanting your whole neighborhood to know, is exactly why nosey exists.

Chicago is full of founders doing incredible, one-of-a-kind things, and I genuinely believe more people deserve to know about them.

nosey is my way of making sure they do — bridging the gap between businesses and the neighbors who would love them if they only knew they existed.
